If you're visiting this page you are fed-up with the symptoms of Menopause. Symptoms can be physical such as hot flushes and emotional; anxiety, stress, or anger. Menopause is caused by a reduction in the hormone estrogen as we mature, often in your late 40s to early 50s and many women can find it challenging.

Clinical Hypnotherapy can help women relax, gain control over hot flushes, sleep better and be less stressed. All of which help manage the effect of Menopause.

In 2018 the British Medical Journal published a review of alternative treatments for hot flushes. They concluded that Hypnotherapy could be recommended as being effective in reducing the experience of flushes. In another study, hypnosis helped women to reduce hot flushes by 70%, with the women scoring treatment 9 out of 10.

What does hypnotherapy for Menopause involve?
Clients are guided by June through progressive relaxation. There are then a number of visualisations and exercises that take place during the session and some tasks to do between sessions at home.

How long will it take and what does it cost?
June personalises her hypnosis programmes. Your first session is free, so you can discuss your needs, and June can tailor a programme to suit you. Laybuy is available to spread costs over six instalments.

Where do treatments take place?
Sessions are held at June Callan’s clinic in Parau, Auckland (near Titirangi), in Hamilton (Thursdays only) or online via Zoom.

Always choose a trained and qualified Hypnotherapist. June Callan is trained and qualified to treat personal and medical problems with hypnosis and has extensive experience. She is a Registered Nurse with 40 years of experience. June follows strict professional protocols. More about June >

Conventional approaches to treatment should not be ignored. Lifestyle factors must also be addressed. Always follow your doctor’s advice.

When hypnotised a person is awake and in control, they can’t be made to do anything they do not wish to do.
